Web Design Project Description: I prefer to work with designers: Worldwide Number of pages (approx): 1 Hello, I run a fantasy sports blog. Using my background as a Quantitative Analyst, I created an excel spreadsheet application for my readers to use in analyzing their fantasy team, and I would like to turn this spreadsheet into an interactive web app. Thinking in terms of an excel workbook, and focusing on basketball, here`s what I`ve done: On one tab I have compiled all the current season stats for every player in the league. So this is my database, with each player and all of their current season stats. I manually update this information once a week to reflect current stats. On the next tab I have an interface. Users (who currently download the program) enter the names of each player on their team into the appropriate cells provided. Then excel uses the VLOOKUP function to retrieve stats for the players entered. The spreadsheet compiles the data for all the players on this one team, and creates a composite score for each statistical category (composite score created by me through formula). It then compares this composite score with a target scores, and alerts the user to which stat categories their team is weak in, and which it is strong in. The entire workbook itself doesn`t use any complex functions or anything, no macros, just all simple formulas. My goal is to turn this into an interactive web app that my readers can access through my site. I know this is a pretty easy project for someone who knows PhP. Let me know if there`s any more information you`d need. If all goes well, I have some other similar projects I`d like to have done too (same thing for baseball, etc.).
